Located in Detroit's historic Brush Park neighborhood, Bar Pigalle is a French-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar that combines modern hospitality with the character of a historic building. Artisan Contracting served as the general contractor, transforming a long-vacant commercial space within the historic Carlton Lofts into one of Detroit's premier dining destinations.

Designed by renowned architect Louis Kamper, the building required a careful balance of preserving its historic charm while incorporating contemporary finishes and modern restaurant functionality.

The project included a complete restaurant build-out featuring a commercial kitchen, custom bar, dining area, mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, millwork, flooring, finish carpentry, and custom interior finishes. Every phase of construction was carefully coordinated to create a polished, high-performing space that meets the demands of a full-service restaurant.

Today, Bar Pigalle is recognized for its elevated French-inspired cuisine, award-winning cocktails, and inviting atmosphere. The completed space features an open kitchen, handcrafted bar, exposed brick, premium finishes, and custom seating that reflect the restaurant's unique identity. This project highlights Artisan Contracting's expertise in restaurant construction, hospitality renovations, historic renovations, and commercial tenant improvements throughout Metro Detroit.
