Artisan Contracting served as the general contractor for the build-out of The Loan Goat, an English pub-inspired restaurant and bar located in Detroit. This hospitality project transformed an existing commercial space into a warm, inviting destination that captures the character and charm of a traditional British neighborhood pub.

The project included a complete interior tenant build-out featuring a custom bar, millwork, wood paneling, architectural finishes, flooring, lighting, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) coordination. Construction focused on blending classic pub design with the functionality required for a modern hospitality environment.

Working closely with the ownership team, designers, and specialty trades, Artisan Contracting delivered a space that balances authentic character with efficient operations. Careful attention was given to guest flow, bar functionality, and durable finishes while creating a welcoming atmosphere centered around the bar as the heart of the space.

Today, The Loan Goat offers a distinctive dining and social experience, combining timeless pub styling with contemporary construction quality. This project showcases Artisan Contracting's expertise in bar and pub construction, restaurant buildouts, hospitality renovations, commercial tenant improvements, and hospitality interiors throughout Metro Detroit.
