Artisan Contracting served as the general contractor for the build-out of Mink Detroit, a modern oyster bar located in downtown Detroit. This hospitality project transformed an existing commercial space into a refined seafood-focused dining destination centered around fresh oysters, elevated cuisine, and an intimate guest experience.

The project included a complete interior tenant build-out featuring a custom raw bar, commercial kitchen, refrigeration and cold storage systems, millwork, tile, flooring, architectural lighting, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) coordination. Construction emphasized food-safe finishes, efficient kitchen workflow, and specialized seafood preparation areas to support daily operations.

Working closely with the ownership team, designers, and specialty trades, Artisan Contracting delivered a contemporary space that balances clean design with the operational needs of a high-performing restaurant. Every detail was carefully coordinated to enhance both the guest experience and back-of-house functionality.

Today, Mink Detroit is recognized as one of the city's premier seafood destinations, offering an exceptional oyster program in a modern, thoughtfully designed setting.
