Located in Detroit's historic Brush Park neighborhood, Bar Pigalle is a thoughtfully designed French-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar that blends modern hospitality with the character of a historic building. Artisan Contracting served as the general contractor, completing the interior restaurant build-out and transforming a long-vacant commercial space into one of Detroit's premier dining destinations.

 

The restaurant occupies the ground floor of the historic Carlton Lofts, a building designed by renowned architect Louis Kamper, where the renovation balanced contemporary finishes with the preservation of the building's architectural character.

This full-service restaurant construction project included custom interior finishes, commercial kitchen installation, bar construction, dining room build-out, mechanical and electrical coordination, plumbing, lighting, millwork, flooring, and finish carpentry. Every phase of construction was carefully coordinated to deliver a welcoming, high-end dining environment while meeting the demanding requirements of a modern commercial restaurant.

The completed space features an open kitchen, handcrafted bar, custom seating, exposed brick, premium finishes, and a sophisticated atmosphere that reflects Bar Pigalle's modern French concept. Working alongside the ownership team, designers, and specialty trades, Artisan Contracting delivered a restaurant that seamlessly combines functionality, craftsmanship, and exceptional guest experience.
