Artisan Contracting served as the general contractor for the build-out of Northend Taproom, a neighborhood taproom and hospitality venue in Detroit. This project transformed an existing commercial space into a welcoming destination centered around craft beer, elevated bar offerings, and a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere.

The project included a complete interior tenant build-out featuring a custom bar, draft beer system installation, back-of-house support areas, millwork, flooring, tile, architectural lighting, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) coordination. Special attention was given to integrating a high-performance draft system, refrigeration, and efficient bar layouts to support quality service and daily operations.

Working closely with the ownership team, designers, and specialty trades, Artisan Contracting delivered a functional space that balances modern hospitality design with the comfort of a neighborhood gathering place. Every detail was carefully coordinated to optimize operational flow while creating an inviting guest experience.

Today, Northend Taproom serves as a vibrant destination for craft beer enthusiasts and the local community. This project showcases Artisan Contracting's expertise in taproom construction, bar and restaurant build-outs, hospitality renovations, commercial tenant improvements, and beverage-focused hospitality projects throughout Metro Detroit.
