Artisan Contracting served as the general contractor for the build-out of Lady of the House, an award-winning restaurant located in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood. The project transformed a historic commercial space into a warm, inviting dining destination that blended contemporary design with the building's original character. The complete interior tenant build-out included a custom bar, dining areas, architectural finishes, lighting, millwork, flooring, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) coordination. Working closely with the ownership team, designers, and specialty trades, Artisan Contracting delivered a thoughtfully crafted space that supported efficient restaurant operations while creating an exceptional guest experience. This project showcases Artisan Contracting's expertise in restaurant construction, commercial tenant improvements, hospitality renovations, and adaptive reuse projects throughout Metro Detroit.
