The Palmer Park Lighthouse dates back prior to 1900. This project involved repairing the stone foundation, removing rotten wood, replacing cedar shingles, painting, new windows, and even a new LED light to revive this historic park lighthouse. The Palmer Park Lighthouse restoration was made possible by the City of Detroit and the PFPP Preservation Committee.
